There is only one essential rule that governs the whole Clubshop business. Only one. And it’s very simple.

When you present the opportunity or give support to others, and for anything having to do with this business, please stick to the only true rule that governs it. I would like to ask you to keep it always in mind. Even meditating deeply on it, given its importance.

Reread it often, with great care.

It can only do good to each one of us and to business in general, as well as to the rest of the world.

“Do Unto Others As You Would Have Them Do Unto You”

Inspired by Samuel Milton “Golden Rule” Jones, Mayor of Toledo (OH). August 3, 1846.

Jones was famous for his outspoken advocacy of the proverbial Ethic of reciprocity or “Golden Rule,” hence his nickname.

Jones was an influential advocate of municipal reform and oversaw implementation of a series of humane modifications of the city of Toledo’s administration during his tenure as mayor.

He helped establish the Ohio Oil Company, a firm which was later bought by Standard Oil Company, making Jones a wealthy man.
